SZA amazes in a new rendition of her hit song "Go Gina" from her debut album CTRL.
The Top Dawg artist teamed up with VEVO for their new series, VEVO LIFT.
As one of LIFT's newest artists, the 27-year-old gave us a stripped down performance of "Go Gina" accompanied only by a bassist in a forest setting straight out of a fantasy film.
It contrasts greatly with the up-tempo rhythm of the original, but in that difference, there is something amazing to behold: SZA herself. Her powerful voice fits perfectly with her white flowing dress and the luscious foliage around her, lending an almost a soothing quality to this version that will immediately put you at ease in a good mood.
Fresh off of the success of her debut album, the neo-soul songstress has lit the music world on fire.
SZA is currently working on an album with Tame Impala and Mark Ronson. Take a listen to this latest spin on the hit single and see which version tickles your ear.
