Tia Mowry is one busy lady, given the several projects (TV and film) that she's attached to – from the Nick at Nite family comedy pilot Instant Mom, to David E. Talbert's rom-com, Baggage Claim, and there's her hit reality TV show with her sister Tamera on the Style Network; she's also an author, and of course a mother.
Did I leave anything out? 🙂
Props on her hustle!
Earlier this year, she landed the lead role in the upcoming ABC Family movie titled Mistle-Tones, in which she plays a singer named Holly who auditions for a singing group called the Mistle-Tones, which was founded by her mother some 40 years ago, but ends up losing the open slot to the best friend of the group’s leader Marci (played by Tori Spelling), which inspires Holly to create a new group that eventually challenges the Mistle-Tones in a singing competition.
The film actually made its TV broadcast debut on December 9; did anyone watch? If you didn't, and you're interested, lucky for you, ABC Family has made the entire film available online to view, via Hulu.
