Shaun Parkes will have a role in the ABC drama-series The River when it finally premieres in February; David Harewood just delivered a fantastic performance in the first season of Showtime's Homeland.  Both can be seen this New Year's Day, when Sky 1 HD premieres its long-awaited film-adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island.

Actress Nina Sosanya also appears in the two-part drama, as do Eddie Izzard and Elijah Wood, when it airs Sunday at 7:30 PM.
