With Mother's Day arriving next month, Yara Shahidi's adorable video paying homage to her mom is timely. 

The short, directed by Margaret Zhang for designer Tory Burch, is called To Mom With Love, and stars the 18-year-old actress and her mother, executive producer and strategist, Keri Shahidi, The Cut reports. 

Snuggled next to each other in matching green jumpsuits, the pair discuss interesting podcasts and books and how Mom takes a genuine interest in her daughter's generation.

In fact, she cultivated her own fan following with her popular Instagram, @chocolatemommyluv. If you follow her, you know the mother of three certainly takes pride in each of her talented children.

“Some people tell me ‘Hey, I’m not here for you, I’m actually here for chocolatemommyluv, just so you know,’” Yara says in the video. 

As the grown-ish star reaches new heights of stardom and pop culture relevance, she reflected on her relationship with her mom and how they balance their business and personal relationship. 

“Watching my mom maneuver any space and actively protect not only herself but everyone around her is one of the greatest lessons,” Yara said. “Even though she is about business and always gets the job done, she is also just fun to hang out with. One main goal in everything we do is to have a good time.”
