The legacy of Miami Gardens continues with the 2026 Jazz in the Gardens Music Festival (JITG).
What once started as a parking lot concert in dirt fields in the city of Miami Gardens has now become one of South Florida’s premier cultural events.
“Our community looks forward to Jazz in the Gardens every year because it brings people together in a powerful, joyful way,” said Mayor Rodney Harris in an official press release. “This festival is a celebration of art, culture, and connection, and we are thrilled to welcome visitors from near and far for another incredible weekend in Miami Gardens.”
Who is on the 2026 lineup?
This year’s JITG festival features headliners Jhené Aiko, Nelly & Ashanti, and Ludacris, with the latter set to close out the event on March 8, with a special 25th anniversary set.
In addition, iconic acts like The Isley Brothers, Stephanie Mills, and El DeBarge are set to perform, along with GloRilla, Ella Mai, Mýa, Joe, Pastor Mike Jr., and a host of others.
Additionally, a special D-Nice & Friends set will feature SWV, Case, Donell Jones, Sunshine Anderson and Kenny Burns.
The Black Promoters Collective returns as a partner for JITG.
“Collaborating with the City of Miami Gardens to elevate JITG is an honor,” said Troy Brown, Partner and CMO of the Black Promoters Collective. “We strive to push the festival’s creative boundaries, and the 2026 lineup reflects the depth and impact of Black music. This year will be exceptional.”
Black Promoters Collective was recently behind Brandy and Monica’s The Boy Is Mine Tour, The 2025 Millennium Tour and more. In 2026, they also have Bow Wow and B2K’s Boys 4 Life Tour, The New Edition Way Tour with special guests Boyz II Men and Toni Braxton and more.
