Just when we thought we had seen the depths of caucasity, a couple comes along to prove Beckery and Chadness know no bounds.

Travel blogger John Milton and his unnamed wife thought it would be a great idea to get married in the Democratic Republic of Congo. White people getting married in Africa for the ‘Gram is eyeroll-worthy, but that isn’t the Miltons’ worst offense.

The couple climbed to the top of an active volcano and convinced a couple of masked men to point rifles at them for their wedding photos.

By the way, the Congo been locked in armed conflict since the 90s. How does Milton feel about that?

“Saying our vows at the top of an active Congolese volcano with a local tribe while a civil war is brewing below is surrealism at its best,” he captioned one of the photos.

 Unfortunately, things didn’t stop there.

The wedding's photographer snapped a picture of the couple’s wedding ring gently resting on an AK-47! Milton captioned that picture "blood diamonds."

The couple made their way to a town, and the wife struck a pose in front of what appears to be a group of understandably confused locals. Her husband added another layer of racism by referring to the settlement as “the ghetto.”

When a follower asked Milton about his inspiration, he said he "wanted to make sure we didn't have the typical goofy wedding shots."

The pictures have been on the internet since 2017, but they didn’t go viral until Cecilia Christin put them on her Facebook page on Monday.

"I decided to share these pictures in order to foster discussion within my friends and following, specifically about the accessorization [sic] of black bodies for this couple's photo shoot," Christin told Insider.

The rest of the internet was not amused.

Milton couldn’t take the heat and made his Instagram page private before he deleted the account. Which honestly was a far wiser decision than this photoshoot.
