Update: The Associated Press reports the Kent County, Michigan Prosecutor's Office has determined the report that a 60-year-old white man accused of urinating on a black girl and hurling a racial slur at her was false. One of the two girls involved created the fake story after she urinated on the 5-year-old at the center of the incident. They crafted the account and pinned it on the man in an attempt to "avoid trouble." Prosecutors have dropped all the charges against the man.

Original: A white man has been accused of urinating on a 5-year-old black girl in a North Grand Rapids, Michigan, alley on Wednesday evening, according to M Live. 

About 20 minutes after the incident occurred, the little girl's parents called Grand Rapids police about the male assailant who was described as white and about 60-years-old, the Detroit Free Press reports. 

According to witness accounts from two 7-year-old children and one 5-year-old, along with the victim, the man urinated on the girl and called her a "n****r."

Noting the physical description, police quickly identified the suspect and arrested him at his residence. According to reports, the man did not resist arrest.

The children involved are all undergoing counseling, courtesy of the police department's Family Services Team alongside the Children's Advocacy Center.

The suspect is currently being held at Kent County jail while prosecutors work on determining the charges.
