Tiffany Haddish is known for her unique and hilarious delivery, so if you ever receive the honor of having her give a speech at your wedding reception, you're winning! 

Model Chanel Iman recently wed New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepherd, and during their reception, Haddish delivered a speech that was the perfect combination of hilarious and heartfelt. 

“I knew you could take care of any man you decided to take care of, and I’m glad you decided to take care of that one ’cause I can see his soul,” Haddish said in a video posted by Brides. “I looked into his eyeballs when you brought him to the comedy club. That’s a good man.”

Haddish and Iman first met on the set of the 2017 film, Mad Families. "During filming, I didn’t have a trailer, so she was kind enough to share hers with me," Iman recalled. "So for a month, we were sharing a trailer and going over lines together. We laughed, we cried, we bonded. She’s like a big sister to me."

As any good sister-friend would, Haddish turned to Shepherd and gave him the real: “You better worship the ground she walk on ’cause she’s got a gangster-ass b*tch that got her back,” Haddish exclaimed as the video appropriately transitioned to a clip of her doing the Crip walk. “Sorry, pastor!”

Haddish got jokes, but there were sentimental words to be had, as well. 

“Make sure y’all have fun together,” said Haddish. “I ain’t that old, but I’m old, but I ain’t that old. But I’ve seen things. From my observation, the relationships that last the longest are the relationships where you have fun. You are going to have your ups and your downs, but find time to have fun.” Haddish dropped gems!
