I think it's fair to say that of those who know that Zoe Saldana is playing Nina Simone in an upcoming movie about her life, about roughly  98.2% of them, think that it's an outrage and an insult that she's playing the part.

O.K. Maybe I exaggerated. It's more like 98.1%.

So it was inevitable that, at some point, Ms. Saladna would respond to all the criticism and attacks that she's been on the receiving end of; and she did just that, this weekend, at a pre-Oscar celebration event.
