If you’re in college and are toying around with the idea of studying abroad, DO IT. As someone who spent four months living in Paris, France, I can easily say that it was one of the best decisions of my entire life. Studying abroad showed me how truly small the United States is, and that there is so much to see and experience during our short period of time on Earth. When looking at study abroad programs during my undergraduate career, one thing I noticed is the tiny amount of programs that go to countries in Africa. And if there was one in Africa, it was 90% likely to be held in Cape Town, SA. But there is so much more to Africa than just South Africa.
