Jackson State University has been making significant strides in the realm of college athletics, and Deion Sanders has had a big part in the matter.
Sanders, aka Coach Prime, was named JSU‘s head football coach back in 2020. Since then, he’s been steadily working to make the Mississippi HBCU a household name.
From blasting the NFL to being named Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Coach of the Year, he’s put in major work. However, this wouldn’t be possible if Sanders hadn’t made it his mission to create a football environment that fosters success, genuine connections, and good times. However, Sanders isn’t afraid to humorously check his team during these same meetings.
Earlier this month, Sanders made headlines for a rant involving used “booty paper” being left around toilets.
“How hard is it to take your booty paper and just throw it in the toilet and flush it?” Sanders asked his squad, who sat in silence.
“Every time I find booty paper on the toilet, I’m gonna just bar the whole toilet,” he continued. “Just be polite with your teammates.”
