Amber Rose's followers refer to themselves as "Rosebuds," and she has a special treat for them. The model, actress and feminist activist recently launched her app that will allow her to directly connect with her biggest fans and shower them with donations — both big and small — for their projects.
It isn't clear exactly how many fans will receive funding for their projects, but Rose did confirm money will be available for fans needing help with rent, tuition and business start-up funds.
“I wanted it to be very personal so it’s going to be full of content you can’t find on any of my other platforms," said Rose in a press release according to the Atlantic Black Star. “I also know how amazing my fans are, so this gives me the opportunity to show them I see and hear them. I want to give back and build a tight-knit community in which they can all feel empowered to be themselves with the support of other members of the amazing Amber Rose community.”
Additionally, Rose announced a new contest on Instagram. The contest's three winners will be flown out to join her for her SlutWalk in Los Angeles on October 6, 2018. Those wishing to enter must download her app, subscribe, like and comment under the video in the app saying why they should be chosen to attend the march.
