There isn't a stage Bronx rapper Cardi B doesn't make her own. Her performance at the Adult Video News (AVN) Awards in Las Vegas on Saturday was a clear illustration of why organizers chose her to be the first female performer for what Billboard describes as the "Oscars of porn."

According to AVN's official website, the AVN Awards "is the premier gala of the adult industry and recognizes titles, individuals and companies for contributions to and excellence in the industry."

Per Rolling Stone, Cardi performed "Bickenhead" and "She Bad," singles from her 2018 chart-topping debut album Invasion of Privacy. Dressed in a racy blue lingerie number, Cardi looked to be having the time of her life as she sashayed across the stage while her dancers performed choreographed routines behind her. TMZ writes that following the performance, Cardi reportedly joked to the crowd, "I'm so excited for these awards … more than the Grammys. I don't know why."

Cardi is confirmed to perform in two weeks at music's biggest night, where she is nominated for five awards, including Album of the Year for Invasion of Privacy and Record of the Year for "I Like It."

Those who weren't able to catch Kulture's mother in person this weekend don't have to worry. As Blavity previously reported, Cardi secured a Las Vegas residency at KAOS, a brand-new club set to open this spring.
