People will learn that being compared to Kendall and Kylie Jenner isn't like winning an Oscar.

When Sudanese-Australian models and sisters Duckie Thot and Nikki Perkins were compared to the famous socialites, Twitter quickly came for the user who dared to defile the two women's good name.

The backlash was not a slight against the two Jenner sisters, but it was a proclamation that Duckie and Nikki are women in their own right who have created a brand of their own. And not to mention, Duckie and Nikki are older than Kylie and Kendall.

As a young model, Duckie has graced runways all across Europe and proudly repped Rihanna's new beauty line, Fenty Beauty. She has used her platform to call out racism in the modeling industry by recounting a story in which she was bullied by a fellow model for having natural hair.

Duckie wants to be an inspiration to other girls who are rarely represented in the modeling industry. When she announced her involvement in Pirelli's all-black girl calendar, she wrote on Instagram that this is for "the girls who've struggled with self-acceptance, wherever you are around the world, this is for you. This is for the culture."

Nikki, on the other hand, has created a large following on Youtube accumulating 200,000 plus subscribers as a makeup guru. She is a wife, a mother and a businesswoman.
