Ginuwine is an R&B heartthrob, but he’s not too cool to laugh off the embarrassing fall he took at the Lovers & Friends Festival in Las Vegas. After the tumble, which went viral across social media, the 52-year-old singer poked fun at himself in an Instagram video he shared as he was driving with his crew. “We had so much fun, aside from my little spill,” he said before bursting with laughter. “Man down! But then man got back up.”
He then referenced gospel singer Donnie McClurkin’s 2000 song “We Fall Down,” singing its lyrics, “We fall down, but we get up.”
In case you missed it, the fall happened on Saturday when Ginuwine tried getting closer to his fans while onstage at the Lovers & Friends Festival, TMZ reported. Of course, the jokes rolled in. “When the knees don’t work like they use to,” one person tweeted.
