Apple TV has dropped the first teaser trailer for Imperfect Women, the upcoming psychological thriller series starring Elisabeth Moss, Kerry Washington and Kate Mara.

Moss and Washington executive produce the series, which was created by showrunner Annie Weisman.

Here’s the description:

Based on Araminta Hall’s novel of the same name, “Imperfect Women” examines a crime that shatters the lives of a decades-long friendship of three women. The unconventional thriller explores guilt and retribution, love and betrayal, and the compromises we make that alter our lives irrevocably. As the investigation unfolds, so does the truth about how even the closest friendships may not be what they seem.

The teaser trailer, released on Tuesday at the 2026 Apple TV Press Day, focuses on the past, present and future as Mara’s character has died, and there is a tangled web and secrets.

Who else stars in ‘Imperfect Women’?

The cast also includes Joel Kinnaman, Corey Stoll, Leslie Odom Jr., Audrey Zahn, Jill Wagner, Rome Flynn, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Violette Linnz, Indiana Elle, Jackson Kelly, Keith Carradine, Ana Ortiz and Wilson Bethel.

The series is produced by 20th Television and Apple Studios. Other executive producers are Lindsey McManus (through her and Moss’s Love & Squalor Pictures), and Pilar Savone, who executive produces with Washington for Simpson Street.
