The newest trailer for Mortal Kombat II broadens the intergalactic scope of the universe that Johnny Cage (Karl Urban) finds himself in.
The trailer shows Johnny feeling completely outmatched and wanting to be sent back to Earth. But he’s very quickly told what the stakes are–the fate of the entire Earthrealm.

Simon McQuoid returns to direct the sequel from a script by Jeremy Slater. The film is based on the popular video game by Ed Boon and John Tobias. McQuoid produces with Todd Garner, E. Bennett Walsh, James Wan and Toby Emmerich. Executive producers include Boon, Michael Clear, Judson Scott, Jeremy Slater, and Lawrence Kasanoff.
