Ken Nwosu will star in ITV’s drama miniseries The Man. According to Deadline, The Man will be a three-part “workplace psychological drama centered around middle management.” Nwosu’s character in the drama is family man Thomas Benson, a corporate worker who goes down a mental rabbit hole on a quest for workplace recognition.
“Reliant on bonuses and winning pitches, Benson often finds himself leading the team when trying to win new business. When he freezes during a pitch the fall out is monumental,” writes the site. “Determined to win back a big client, Thomas goes to increasingly desperate lengths to remain successful.” Benson’s desperation for success, though, sends him out of control.
Julia Ford will direct the series. Along with Bartlett, the series will be produced by Killing Eve‘s Colin Wratten and executive produced by Catherine Oldfield, who also produced Bartlett’s other project, Trauma.
Nwosu has starred in Killing Eve and Disney’s Christopher Robin, as well as UK comedy about Shakespeare’s early life, Upstart Crow, and UK crime film Cold Blow Lane.
