Mary J. Blige will make her debut on Shonda Rhimes’ ABC drama “How to Get Away with Murder,” on tomorrow night’s episode.
In the episode, titled “It’s About Frank,” the mystery behind the Annalise “killer” flyers takes a surprising twist. Meanwhile, Frank’s troubled past is exposed and a shocking new discovery changes everything about the night of the fire.
Although details on what exactly Blige’s role on the series will be, have been kept under-wraps since it was announced over the summer that she’ll be appearing in the series this season. Although from the episode preview (watch it below) that ABC released this evening, it appears that she’s Annalise’s (Viola Davis’) hairdresser, seemingly appearing in a flashback, as she works on Annalise’s hair while they rap.
It was also previously reported that Blige’s role would be a pivotal one, and while she’s only filmed one episode thus far, series creator Peter Nowalk has said that she could potentially return in a recurring role.
