Flight attendants are primarily responsible for the safety and comfort of their passengers. However, one cabin crew member took the routine safety procedures to the next level and ensured everyone paid attention.

Stefan Peters went viral on TikTok this week for hilariously lip-syncing the safety procedures on a flight from Chicago to Phoenix. Queerty reported that one of the passengers recorded him before the plane had taken off.

TikToker @davidgoldingbramhall76 was the passenger who posted the video to his account. He praised Peters for taking the extra time to enforce safety guidelines while being entertaining.

“This is how they should all do the safety briefing. Amazing cabin crew on our Chicago to Phoenix flight,” he wrote in the post’s caption.

In the nearly three-minute clip, Peters lip-syncs to the narration of the woman’s voice. He then used amusing facial expressions and hand motions to convey the message to the passengers.

Peters told Queerty he’s conscious of being recorded aboard flights but had no idea he would go viral on the social platform.

“I did it as a way to get people to pay attention,” he said. “Most people don’t look up when we’re doing the safety demo, which is again for their safety, so I figured let me just mouth along to it to get them to pay attention. I think the contrast of a female voice coming from this 6’4″ man is funny and would grab attention.”
