The Paris Olympics are only months away, and Team USA Gymnastics is preparing for the event. The competition will see the long-awaited return of Simone Biles and Gabby Douglas to the sport. Promotion for the Olympics is underway, and other team members are stepping out to represent U.S. participation.

Frederick “Flip” Richard met with Snoop Dogg for the occasion. The duo was recorded freestyling together in a hilarious segment. The 19-year-old noted the “pressure” of performing his best rap freestyle in front of the rapper, who encouraged him and told him to “breathe.”

“Way too cool! How many people get to say they freestyled with Snoop,” someone commented under Richard’s Instagram post.

“Aaaand NOW you can handle ANYTHING!!!!! Olympic finals will be a breeeeezzzze!!!” another person wrote.

Snoop Dogg was present to promote his newly launched breakfast line, Snoop Cereal, which he released last summer with Master P. Another American athlete, Deion Sanders, was tapped by the brand and will be featured on the cereal box.

The rapper and mogul posed for photographs with Richard. The gymnast indicated he learned valuable tips on how to build a brand from Snoop Dogg himself.

During the promotional event, the rapper was also seen taking volleyball lessons from Team USA athletes Kelly Cheng and Sara Hughes.

On his end, Richard is set for a promising performance at the Olympics. The 19-year-old became the first American man to win a medal in the all-around during the World Championship last October. He took home a bronze medal.

“I know we have so much potential to go,” Richard said about his and his teammates’ involvement in the Paris Olympics, according to CBS News. “I think it’s only up from here.”

The gymnast is currently a sophomore at the University of Michigan, where he competes as a student-athlete and is a student at the College of Literature, Science and the Arts.
