You may remember when Insecure's DomiNque Perry (Tasha) posted a picture of her newborn baby girl, Zen, on Instagram. Soon after, Insecure's Sarunas Jackson (Dro) followed up on IG with a Zen picture of his own. Fans quickly did the math and realized they had come across some fresh tea: two stars from Insecure just had a baby!

However, Jackson wasn't too amused at the gossip surrounding him and Perry in what he believed should've been a private time in their lives. At the time, neither Jackson nor Perry had confirmed they were in a relationship, according to People.

Adding to the rumor mill were stories suggesting Zen was conceived while Jackson was cheating on his then-girlfriend, according to Vanity Fair.

“Being a private person, when the news came out that me and DomiNque had our baby girl Zen … I don’t want to say it affected my personal life. I did have a day where I was a bit aggravated,” Jackson told Page Six. “I didn’t mind the positivity, but there’s a lot of ignorant people out there. So there were comments made, whether it was about the baby or the mother of my child or me.”

Jackson also talked about the adjustment he had to make after being thrust into the spotlight due to the news.

“It was interesting … because I never had a life where people are thirsty for fake tea,” Jackson continued. “It’s an interesting thing where they make up scenarios and try and paint you a certain way … It was an adjustment to make."

“I mean we went through the whole pregnancy, and nobody knew,” the actor added. “It’s me and DomiNque who were conceiving together … and that was done on purpose.”

Jackson said he typically has a rule for himself where he avoids dating people he's working with and said he followed that rule while he and Perry were on the HBO show at the same time.

“My rules for on-set dating is something that I wouldn’t pursue, but particularly my situation there wasn’t even a thought while both of us were on the show,” he said.

Once Perry left the show, however, it was on.

“And then one was finished, and it was OK to hang out and stuff like that down the line,” he said.

But, enough of the drama, let's end this by gushing over their adorable baby, Zen!
