GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion might be working on a new album. Recently on Apple Music’s The Ebro Show, Glo lightly answered questions about a collaborative project.
“Is there truth to the rumor of you and Megan Thee Stallion having a joint project?” Ebro asked.
Glo giggled, and Ebro added, “Y’all got some heat. Y’all recorded some things.”
GloRilla replied, “Yup, hmm hmm,” and shook her head affirmatively.
“But you can’t confirm nor deny,” he continued.
“Right,” the Memphis rapper reacted while laughing.
“I’m doing PR live right now,” Ebro said, “but I think that confirms for us that you guys would like to do it if the business works out, it all makes sense, then it’ll happen.”
Although she wouldn’t confirm rumors that an album was coming from the dynamic duo, she mentioned the three records they released together.
Since collaborating and hitting the road together for Meg’s Hot Girl Summer Tour earlier this year, they’ve given both of their fanbases hit songs with “Wanna Be,” “Accent” and “How I Look.”
Ebro tried to get more details from her.
“Did you record more than just those three?” he asked.
But GloRilla deflected once again and, rather than answer the question, remarked, “We workin’ fa sho,” before she burst into laughter. She added, “Like we just got good chemistry together.”
Fans of the MCs will have to wait and see whether a collaborative album comes to fruition. However, GloRilla mentioned, “I might drop again next year because I feel like they gon’ be hungry for more music, and I don’t want to leave them starving or nothing. You know what I’m saying?”
