Jay Z is really, really good at making money.

Everyone knows this.

He’s got so many business ventures that it’s hard to keep track of them all: a venture capital firm, a start-up incubator, Tidal, a management company, being Beyoncé’s husband …

So many, in fact, that it’s easy to forget that Jay Z, as well as being a businessman, is a musician.

Today, the entrepreneur and investor gave us 200 million reasons to remember that he’s also a rapper.

Variety reports that Jay Z has signed a $200 million dollar, 10-year touring deal with Live Nation.

Carter is already signed with the company, and they will continue to produce and promote all of his live concert events.

Although Jay Z doesn’t have a new album coming out anytime soon (that we know of, anyway), he has a robust tour schedule, and will be performing several shows this fall.

In a statement, Carter called Live Nation president and CEO Michael Rapino “an industry visionary,” and said that “this renewed partnership is a testament to our longstanding relationship and the talented individuals at Live Nation.”

For his part, Rapino added, “Jay Z is one of the world’s preeminent touring artists. This strengthens the creative and business partnership of someone that continues to expand his touring base and reach.”

Forbes announced this week that Jay Z is the second richest rapper, coming in just $10 million poorer than Diddy. This new deal will undoubtedly help to put him at the top of the pile next year, and might also make a nice baby gift — $100 million per child.
