Only a week ago, rapper Rick Ross was rushed to the hospital after being found unresponsive in his Miami home. According to witnesses, he showed signs of distress and heavy breathing, and was "slobbing out the mouth." He was taken to the cardiac unit of the hospital to receive respiratory treatment.
Ross has since been released, posting on Instagram Thursday that there is "no place like home."
However, while the rapper seems to be in good health, his former manager Black Bo suffered the same health crisis at Ross's Florida home last month, but was rendered a fatality.
According to TMZ, officials were called to the home on December 8 when Black Bo stopped breathing. He was found lying on his back on the bathroom floor when the officer arrived. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead shortly after fire rescue arrived on scene with the captain noting there was vomit in the toilet.
The medical examiner determined Black's cause of death was atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease or clogging of the arteries. He was only 45.
While this may just be a scary coincidence, the similarities in the two collapses can't help but be noticed.
