Could Lil Uzi Vert‘s star-studded romance with JT of City Girls really be over?

Some drama unfolded between the pair yesterday morning, and it’s related to a few 7-year-old tweets that recently resurfaced. Specifically, an artist who goes by Distortedd—who hails from Lil Uzi Vert’s hometown of Philadelphia—uploaded a now-deleted Instagram post that showed some past flirtatious correspondence between the two.

“If you was meth I’d Do it all day long,” Lil Uzi Vert tweeted at Distortedd back in 2015.

After Distortedd uploaded this now-deleted screenshot, people began to look into other tweets between the two Philly artists. Resultingly, fans uncovered that Lil Uzi Vert also tweeted that he “used to think [Distortedd] was gonna have [his] first child” back in 2015.

Once the matter began making waves online, JT called the whole thing fake—though she ultimately deleted this tweet. Shortly thereafter, the “XO Tour Llif3” rapper lamented that JT dumped him over the matter.

“JT broke up with me over some dumb a** sh*t,” he tweeted. “I don’t even do nothin FML.”

Later, JT issued another now-deleted tweet on the matter in which she seemingly explained her decision to dump him.

“Idgaf if it was 2012 he said it was fake instead of old & since he want to run to the internet about it here y’all go,” she wrote.

Despite the drama that Distortedd’s post started, she denied having any interest in Lil Uzi Vert.

“I be posting mood boards, and Uzi’s my homie. So, like, it’s not even like that,” she said on her Instagram Story. “It’s not like that at all.”

It’s also worth noting that Lil Uzi Vert stans have taken aim at JT as well. In fact, fans dug up some old, troubling tweets JT allegedly tweeted about R. Kelly in the past.

Neither rapper has further spoken on the matter through Instagram or Twitter.
