OG Wu-Tang fans suffered a loss today.

Former Wu-Tang Clan member and ghostwriter Lord Superb (born Jamel Cummings) has passed away, The Source reports. He was 41 years old.

Although the cause of death hasn't been confirmed, it is known Cummings passed out in New Jersey earlier this month and fell into a coma. He never regained consciousness.

Originally a member of Raekwon's Cream Team, Cummings was known as one of the most exuberant personalities associated with the Wu, a group not known for lacking colorful personas. He made one of his most memorable recorded appearances on Ghostface Killah's second solo album Supreme Clientele in 2001.

Following his exit from the Wu, Cummings made headlines for criminal behavior. According to Hip Hop Wired, Cummings was convicted on sexual abuse charges twice: one first-degree charge involving a 12-year-old girl and one second-degree charge involving victims who were 13 and 15 at the time.
