Along with "Where is her MTV Video Vanguard at, though?!," the question most often asked concerning Missy Elliott is: "Where's the new music?"

Earlier this month, Elliott hinted at the existence of some new tracks, opening up on Twitter about her "fear" of no one truly getting her style:

Days later, using the entertaining power of her Animoji, Elliott posted a sneak peek clip of her upcoming single, "Cool Off:"

“2019 Let me get yall a*ses DANCING AGAIN," she captioned the Sunday tweet. Mission accomplished, because issa bop.

Elliott's most recent album was The Cookbook, was released in 2005.
