Fans of NBA YoungBoy, aka YoungBoy Never Broke Again, know all about the 22-year-old rapper’s long list of children he shares with different women. His exact number of biological children tends to fluctuate rapidly, as he welcomed his eighth child last fall and is currently noted as having at least nine kids.
In addition to his growing number of biological children, YoungBoy is also still involved in the lives of a few kids who were fathered by different men—such as “Baby K,” who was proven to not be biologically related to the rapper through a DNA test.
The Baton Rouge rapper’s mother, Sherhonda Gaulden, recently spoke on her army of grandchildren in a social media post, clarifying that she has a total of 12 grandbabies through her superstar son.
“I have 12 grandchildren all under 5 I have to have a relationship ship with their mothers until there old enough to come and call on their own until then I love them all [sic],” she wrote on Facebook.
While many people’s attentions were instantly caught by the weird flex of having 12 grandkids under the age of 5, others were drawn to the supposed “very subtle shade” towards NBA YoungBoy’s baby mamas within her statement.
NBA YoungBoy, who is currently inactive on social media, hasn’t recently commented on his large number of children, though it sounds like he and his mother are involved in the children’s lives.
Gaulden’s post comes on the heels of NBA YoungBoy breaking the internet with his new diss track, as Blavity previously reported. The song, titled “I Hate YoungBoy,” takes aim at a variety of different figures within the industry—including Lil Durk, India Royale, Gucci Mane, Boosie, Lil Baby, and 21 Savage. The song swiftly took off, and it still currently holds the #1 spot on YouTube’s list of trending music.
