Nike’s “Dream Crazy” commercial will air during the NFL season opener despite a bunch of bellyaching from Team MAGA and their not-so-fearless leader.

Reps from Nike and NBC Sports confirmed the commercial would air during Thursday night’s NFL season opener, according to The New York Times.

The ad will be shortened to 90 seconds and is also scheduled to air during the U.S. Open, college football games and major league baseball coverage.

In addition to the commercial, Nike erected a large billboard above its San Francisco store, according to WTHR.

Nike and the NFL are bound by a contract that extends until 2028. The apparel giant provides uniforms for players and sideline personnel.

The NFL released a statement about Kaepernick on Tuesday following Nike’s announcement of the ad campaign.

“The National Football League believes in dialogue, understanding and unity,” said Jocelyn Moore, president of communications and public affairs. “We embrace the role and responsibility of everyone involved with this game to promote meaningful, positive change in our communities. The social justice issues that Colin and other professional athletes have raised deserve our attention and action.”
