NLE Choppa is covering his bases to clarify that his health products do not directly treat cancer, despite a couple of past tweets suggesting otherwise.

Fans will know that NLE Choppa has been on a spiritual journey for quite a while, discussing subjects like meditation, manifestation and wellness on his YouTube channel, Awakened Choppa.

The 19-year-old rapper’s interests also spilled over into the realm of holistic medicine, and he began selling products like sea moss, herbal tonics and “NLE Health Oils” on his website, NLEHealthandWellness.

However, NLE Choppa went a few steps further and began speaking on his products’ supposedly miraculous benefits.

“Wow man just was informed I helped cure someone from cancer. This Major To Me,” he tweeted back in June 2021.

“I Will Have A Herbal Concoction By Next Week That Will Cure Erectile Dysfunction And Also Help A Male Sex Life. Also A Concoction That Will Treat Insomnia And Anciety/Fear,” NLE Choppa added in another tweet.

As one would imagine, many people side-eyed these comments, though NLE Choppa is now setting the record straight.

The “Camelot” rapper recently sat down with DJ Vlad for an interview and spoke on the backlash against his supplements — which included the host referring to NLE Choppa as a “snake oil salesman” during a back-and-forth last month.

During the sit-down, DJ Vlad addressed NLE Choppa saying that he “cured cancer,” and the rapper interjected to clarify that he never really said that.

“I said I helped someone,” he said during the VladTV interview. “I’d be lying if I said I got patients in my house and I’m just treating them. I don’t have the time for that. The only thing I can do is be a messenger and provide you with something that I’m blessed with — my energy. Because energy is an ingredient within itself.”

“As long as you have good intentions, you pray over these things, you talk to them, and you give it to people with the right intentions… you can help someone. You can help save a life,” NLE Choppa continued.

The rapper further spoke on the subject in another portion of the interview.

“I’m not gon’ sit here and be like, ‘Oh, I just cured people with these magical herbs’ and ‘Oh, Imma give you mugwort and you just gon’ heal from cancer.’ That’s impossible,” he said. “That’s not how it works. First and foremost, I can’t heal anyone.”

“It all starts within the person… It grows naturally,” NLE Choppa continued. “If you use it the right way, you will see benefits. You will see results… But I’m not saying, like, ‘Imma give you this in a jar, just drink it every day and you’ll be good.’ That’s not how it works.”
