Take a knee all you want, Pro Football Hall of Famer Jim Brown is still standing with Trump. It's been said that the older a person gets, the more stuck in their ways they are, and that may be the case for the 82-year-old. When Brown appeared on the The JT The Brick Show on Fox Sports Radio, he explained that even after meeting many presidents over the years, he still has love for the Presidential Office's current occupant.

"I should be criticizing Trump on every level because he does certain things that call for criticism," the legendary running back said. "But when I look at television I see all these announcers become experts and they're pointing the fingers and they're not doing a doggone thing but pointing their fingers, I find myself really pulling for the president."

While Brown knows that his stance won't necessarily be supported by the majority, he still said what he said.

"Now, that would make me very unpopular in the black community," Brown continues. "Very unpopular with a lot of Americans … but I think that there are certain good things that are coming out of this Presidency because we've never seen anything like it."

Perhaps the good things we see are the bigots and deplorables coming out of hiding, but it's hard to think of much more.

This isn't the first time Brown has made his support for Donald Trump apparent. In addition to saying he'd "never kneel during the anthem," he met with Trump in 2016 saying that 45 has his "admiration."

Meanwhile, NFL players will continue to peacefully protest and speak out against Trump. Thank goodness for balance.
