O.J. Simpson has an awfully insightful opinion about Bill Cosby’s prison sentence.
For some reason, TMZ believed the world cared about The Juice’s opinion and asked him about Cosby.
Simpson believes the comedian needs extra security.
"The problem is the nature of the crime," he said. "Rapists are frowned upon in prison. I'm sure there will be guys protecting him but they're gonna have to put him in protective custody … because it takes one nut, ya know?"
He would know since he spent almost a decade in prison for armed robbery. The former NFL star was released in 2017.
Simpson believes Cosby doesn’t belong in prison.
"With his health and his age and the nature of the crime, there's not a warden in this country wants the responsibility of a Bill Cosby. I think they should let him do his time under house arrest,” Simpson said.
Cosby has been in solitary confinement since Tuesday, when he was sentenced to three to 10 years in prison for sexually assaulting Andrea Constand. The prison said they would integrate him into the general population when they were finished assessing his needs.
Cosby reportedly had a hot dog bun thrown at him and fell down a few stairs on his first night in prison.
He’ll be aight.
