Congrats are in order for Steph Curry yet again. Steph Curry is undoubtedly one of the greatest to ever play in the NBA. He is the first player in the league to average 30 points per game in less than 35 minutes per game over the course of a full season. He’s joined the ranks of Steve Nash and his coach Steve Kerr, by being able to shoot at least 50 percent from the floor, 45 percent from 3-point range and 90 percent from the line in a single season. Curry has buried 402 3-pointers after setting a record of 296 the year before. He  along with his teammates beat the Chicago Bulls record closing out the season with a 73-9 record. His accuracy on the court has improved with his scoring spiking from 23.8 per game to 30.8. The man is unstoppable, literally. Last night he returned to play in game 4 against the Trail Blazers while still recovering from a MCL sprain. In nothing short of greatness, Curry scored 40 points had 9 rebounds and 8 assist leading his team to victory over the Portland Trail Blazers, 132-125. Even more remarkable was that he scored 17 points in the five minutes of overtime which is the most by any play in overtime in the history of the game.

After looking at last night’s game alone it is of no surprise to any one that Stephen Wardell Curry became the first ever unanimously chosen NBA Most Valuable Player. Winning this award for the second season straight, Curry got all 131 votes from sportswriters, broadcasters, and one Kia MVP fan vote. Curry said it best himself in last night’s game “I’m Back”. Congrats again to Curry on this most prestigious honor!
