Steve Harvey is at the center of the internet’s latest joke.
According to Complex, the TV host has recently been a staple on social media, with many users sharing AI-generated deep fakes of Harvey in different scenarios. Even rapper Sexxy Red has participated in the trend.
“Shake dat ass fa me!!!” she wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, along with an image of Harvey laughing and pounding on a table as sweat glistens on his forehead.
The rapper’s caption references Drake’s “Rich Baby Daddy,” which features her and SZA from the Degrassi alum’s newest album, For All the Dogs.

Other AI images of the 66-year-old show him singing and playing guitar, being chased by what appears to be a supernatural creature in a forest, drinking a purple beverage and having an arm wrestling contest with Mr. Potato Head. The images caused an online uproar that a user even created a Steve Harvey AI account on the social media platform.
Someone: Ai is terrible and will ruin the world

Though AI-Harvey is all fun and games, many have spoken out against the potential harms of the technology. In September, authors George R.R. Martin, John Grisham, Jodi Picoult and 14 others filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against OpenAI, a ChatGPT developer, claiming the platform facilitated “systematic theft on a mass scale,” Complex reported.
Drake’s also spoken out against AI. In April, he responded to a viral clip of an AI-generated version of him rapping Ice Spice’s “Munch” on his Instagram Story.
“This is the final straw AI,” he wrote then.
Harvey has not commented on the deep fake internet trend.
