A woman has been found hanging from a tree near a Georgia Walmart.

WSB-TV reports the woman was found hanging from a tree in the parking lot of a Walmart in College Park, Georgia, on early Monday morning, May 14.

Investigators say the woman’s legs were resting at a 45-degree angle. The death has been ruled a suicide.

We finally got ahold of the police spokeswoman after calling through the early morning hours, emailing. She said officers came out and found a woman hanging. She wouldn’t confirm whether it was a suicide when we asked but said there is NO foul play. pic.twitter.com/m8UBTkGUHT

I just got off the phone with the South Fulton detective authorized to share information with the media. She said an unidentified woman was found hanging from a tree overnight near a Walmart on Old National Highway. Two weeks ago, an unidentified man was found hanging from a bridge close to downtown Atlanta. The man was suspended from the bridge using a chain wrapped around his neck. His death was also ruled a suicide. According to the AJC, witnesses say they heard someone yell "don't do it" before the body was discovered.

The race of the deceased has not been confirmed in either case.

Nonetheless, people are on edge.

1st of this is the (trump) era ..countless incidents of police brutality & there have been other incidents of "strange fruit" findings recently. Besides that we can't even go to Starbucks …or go shopping w/o being racially profiled…STILL! No foul play ?…that's a JOKE!!!

Anyone else believe this was a very quick investigation?!?!? Did the Walmart cameras capture anything? Was a note found? Any more information on the victim? I find it hard to believe that black people are out there committing suicide by hanging themselves in public places.
