Rozanda "Chilli" Thomas told us to avoid scrubs, and it looks like she's keeping her options open so she can, too. Not only that, but she believes her new dating philosophy should be adopted by other women of color.
“I want for women — especially for women of color — to not be so closed minded when it comes to love,” the 47-year-old told Essence Magazine. “God made all of us and you may not find your husband because you’re trying to stick to one group. You’ve got to be open. You want the person who’s the best person for you, no matter what color he is.”
This attitude apparently is reflected in Chilli's own personal life. She said she's seeing “one guy, but we’re testing the waters,” and added, "He is not black."

Online, people were quick to pick apart Chilli's actual and rumored dating history. She allegedly dated boxer Floyd Mayweather for a time, as well as Usher (she reportedly inspired his infamous Confessions album). Some were critical of her proclamation:
Whatever gets you through your day but sometimes you gotta look at yourself and the kind of people you attract

When you keep getting fails it time to analyze the common denominator in the equation. In other words look into the mirror.

Having her dating life be the topic of conversation is nothing new for the artist.
If you've been following Chilli in her post-TLC days, you'll know she is outspoken about dating. Her 2010 VH1 reality show What Chilli Wants created a stir, especially when Chilli revealed the long list of what-she-deemed-to-be-necessary attributes she sought in a potential mate.
Chilli is no stranger to controversy, either. Last year, she received some heat following an "all lives matter" comment. She later recanted her statement on the matter.
“Of course, black lives matter and the killing of young black boys is heartbreaking to all of us,” the singer said at the time. “Everyone knows I am a black mother of a black son, so there is no way I could watch what’s happening and not be affected. That video was from an interview in London asking me about issues happening in the U.S. My response was inclusive of everyone, but not meant to undervalue the Black Lives Matter movement or to suggest police brutality against blacks is acceptable.”
