Rapper Travis Scott paid a visit to Harvard College on Sunday, and it wasn’t to attend a class. While in Massachusetts for his Astroworld Tour, Scott stopped at the Ivy League school to teach students about creativity.
In a program entitled “A Master Class on Creativity,” the 26-year-old discussed his work with longtime A&R Sickamore. Clad in a crimson red Harvard hat, Scott also joked about attending the university.
“I actually want to go here,” the former University of Texas student said to the crowd.
That joke may come into fruition. On Monday, Scott took to Twitter to express his interest in the school.
“I'm applying to Harvard In a couple of days. And I really am excited!” he wrote.
This isn’t the first time the “Sicko Mode” star has spoken of his Harvard ambitions. In a 2017 interview, he said he and his friend were supposed to go to Harvard’s architecture school.
“I think after my third album, I’m going to do it after my third album,” he said.
Scott’s third album, AstroWorld, has dominated the charts since it dropped. While in Boston, Scott performed a sold-out show at Boston’s TD Garden.
Scott isn't the only entertainer who's taken an interest in the Ivy League school. A few weeks ago, former Pretty Ricky member Spectacular Smith was seen sporting Harvard gear.
