A Georgia family was on the receiving end of Tyler Perry's habitual generosity following the death of their mother.
Per USA Today, Tynesha Evans was shot and killed the morning of March 16 by her 58-year-old boyfriend, Othnel Inniss, outside of a Wells Fargo in Alpharetta, Georgia.
The 45-year-old woman was the mother of three daughters and a son, two of whom are minors. When Perry learned the children were in danger of being evicted and created a GoFundMe page to cover burial expenses, he reached out to offer assistance.
Perry contacted one of Evans' daughters, Audrey Turner, to cover their rent and also said he would pay for the funeral. The New Orleans native also reportedly funded the cost of flying the body back to her hometown in Wisconsin for a second funeral.
