How time flies…! I remember when this was first announced in January, which seems like so long ago, but I suppose it isn’t. And now, today actually, a quick 9 months, the series makes its broadcast TV premiere tonight!

Nicole Beharie’s stars in FOX’s contemporary take on the legend of Sleepy Hollow, with Orlando JonesTom Mison and Katia Winter, co-starring in a series that will see Ichabod Crane – a tested captain in the Revolutionary War – transported to present day Sleepy Holly, where he’s charged with the murder of a police officer and has to prove his innocence, as well as convince a wary detective believe he’s from the 18th century.

Orlando Jones will play a Lt. Frank Williams.

Lyndie Greenwood recently booked what will be a recurring role on the highly-anticipated series, playing Jenny Mills, sister of the Beharie’s Abbie Mills, who’s said to be the opposite of Abbie, wearing a tough exterior as a shield.

FOX has set the new series to air on Mondays nights this fall, at 9/8c. And it makes it debut tonight, Monday, September 16, at 9/8c. Needless to say, I’m sure a lot of us will indeed be watching! I know I certainly will, and we’ll of course have a talkback session on it tomorrow. I might even live-tweet it.

Alex Kurtzman (Fringe) and Bob Orci penned the pilot script as well as executive produced, with Phil IscoveHeather Kadin also exec produced, while Len Wiseman directed the pilot.

Ahead of tonight’s premiere, FOX has released 5 new clips which are all embedded below:
