Kanye West, now known as Ye, has dominated headlines with his political rants, but the rapper is still one of the most popular musicians alive.
On the September 29 season premiere of Saturday Night Live, Ye and singer Teyana Taylor moved the audience with a new unreleased song, "We Got Love," which may appear on the rapper/producer's new album, Yandhi, reports Rolling Stone.
This latest track, which Spin magazine reports ended with a thought-provoking voice memo from Ms. Lauryn Hill, was not the only show-stopping performance of the night. Ye brought out Lil Pump for a costume-themed performance of their Billboard hit, “I Love It,” that led to instant internet mockery.
The performance was instantly turned into a meme, paying homage to Kim Kardashian's infamous Paper Magazine photoshoot.
