Zahara Marley Jolie, the daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, has joined the Mu Pi chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. at Spelman College. The 18-year-old was recorded crossing the stage and officially joining the sorority in her induction ceremony. She was seen presenting herself to the crowd.

“My name is Zahara Marley Jolie. And [I] landed all the way from the Golden State in the city full of angels: Los Angeles, California,” she said, according to FOX 5 Atlanta.

Online, users congratulated her on the milestone.

“Looks like she’s having a full HBCU experience and that’s awesome”, someone commented under the video.

Others commended Jolie for inspiring her daughter to connect with her heritage as a Black woman.

“S/o to the white parents who ensure their black children get to have cultured experiences. Angelina has always been a humanitarian so it only makes sense that her children continue in service ❤️ love this,” someone wrote.

“This makes me want to cry. This baby girl was raised in such a way that she could connect as much as possible to her roots. That is soooo commendable,” another commented.

The 18-year-old enrolled at Spelman College in 2022. Her mother had congratulated her at the time and was seen doing the electric slide during the “Spelhouse Back 2 School Send Off & Family Reunion.”

“Zahara with her Spelman sisters! Congratulations to all new students starting this year,” the actor and activist has written on social media. “A very special place and an honor to have a family member as a new Spelman girl.”

Jolie was also seen alongside her daughter during homecoming festivities on campus in Oct. 2022.
