Cultural appropriation just won't stop. In a recent viral video, the odious practice was combined with a gross waste of good produce.
In an Instagram video composed of equal amounts of funny and fail, a white girl attempted to create a hair tutorial trying to teach folks how to do cornrows.
Yes, cornrows.
What truly makes the video prime content, however, is the fact it is embedded in a reaction video featuring a Nigerian daughter along with her Baba (father) who helpfully and hilariously provide non-verbal commentary to each frame.
In the video, the white girl parts her hair to start the braiding process, and it looks like your typical culturally appropriated nonsense until —
She. Takes. Out. A. Bag. Of. Corn.
For… what?
To thread between her braids, of course. Because corn-rows. Get it?
The father-daughter pair are at a loss for words as they watch this Becky make an entire fool of herself while blatantly disrespecting each of the ancestors by trying to turn a historically black hairstyle into a so-so side dish at the cookout.
The fact Baba and daughter don't say anything doesn't matter: we can see it all in their eyes. 'Nuff said.

The white girl concludes her "tutorial" by modeling her new look on a balcony like she really did something. Oh, it's something alright.
