ABC has announced four of its scripted series, 9-1-1, 9-1-1: Nashville, High Potential and Abbott Elementary have been renewed.
The news came after Abbott Elementary, in particular, was recently represented by star and creator Quinta Brunson and fellow cast members at the SAG’s 2026 Actor Awards.
9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Nashville are both executive produced in part by Angela Bassett, who also stars in the flagship series. The franchise made Bassett the highest paid woman in broadcast television, cementing Bassett’s status as a force in the industry. 9-1-1 will be back for its 10th season, while 9-1-1: Nashville will return for its second season.
9-1-1 Nashville stars Chris O’Donnell, Jessica Capshaw, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, LeAnn Rimes, Hailey Kilgore, Michael Provost, Juani Feliz and Hunter McVey. 9-1-1 stars Angela Bassett as Athena Grant, Jennifer Love Hewitt as Maddie Han, Oliver Stark as Evan “Buck” Buckley, Kenneth Choi as Howie “Chimney” Han, Aisha Hinds as Henrietta “Hen” Wilson, Ryan Guzman as Eddie Diaz and Gavin McHugh as Christopher Diaz.
