Rise Above Movement leader Robert Rundo is now in federal jail.

According to The New York Times, the 28-year-old Neo-Nazi leader was arrested by the FBI on Sunday at Los Angeles International Airport. He's been charged with federal conspiracy. Rundo reportedly entered Mexico two weeks ago before trying to head to Central America before agents caught him and brought him back to the U.S.

The Rise Above Movement was behind several violent incidents at protests in California in 2017. Fellow members Robert Boman, Tyler Laube and Aaron Eason were also charged. Boman and Laube were arrested on Tuesday. Agents are still searching for Eason.

The 2017 attacks occurred in several places, including Huntington Beach, California; the University of California, Berkeley campus; San Bernardino, California, and Charlottesville, Virginia.

The U.S. Attorney's Office claims the men acted with "intent to incite, organize, promote, encourage, participate in or carry on riots," per BBC.

“Every American has a right to peacefully organize, march and protest in support of their beliefs — but no one has the right to violently assault their political opponents,” said Los Angeles federal prosecutor Nicola T. Hanna in a statement released on Wednesday.
