Donald Faison ran into a teenager wearing a shirt featuring the Clueless cast, but the poor child did not recognize him or the significance of her top.
Faison, who starred as Murray, encountered the teen in New York City, according to Metro. The situation took a turn for the awkward when he realized the girl didn’t know who he was and why he was so excited about her shirt.
The girl agreed to the picture, and Faison documented her confusion on Instagram.
This is a PSA for all the young people out there, if you’re going to wear a shirt from a movie, at least know about it…that way if you’re lucky enough to run into one of the actors from it, you don’t look like a fool!! “#Clueless for real for real…she was like who are you and why do you want this picture? #MovieOlderThanYou,” Faison wrote.
The picture was later deleted, possibly due to hate the girl received from offended Clueless fans.
