Rihanna has been killing the beauty industry game ever since she dropped Fenty Beauty, which has left even the most major of beauty brands shook. Then, the artist decided to shimmy her way into the lingerie industry with Savage X Fenty, offering an inclusive line of after-dark wear for various body types.

Of course, with Rih appearing to be busy with her successful business ventures, many fans were beginning to wonder if she might be able to pencil in some studio time into that booked calendar of hers.

It's been three years since Rih released ANTI, but it feels so much longer since we've been able to dance to her Barbados bop. Fans are eagerly anticipating her ninth album, which they've lovingly dubbed #R9. 

Stans aren't exactly known for being quiet, and Rihanna's Navy is no exception! Rih recently posted some pics and videos promoting Savage X Fenty's upcoming release on May 11, and like true stans, the Navy wasn't about to let her off the hook with just that news alone.

One Instagram user commented, "We want fenty MUSIC," to which Rih replied, "she coming sis!"

Another fan asked bluntly, "did u forget about your music career?" and Rihanna said, "HOW! Y'all would never let me Lolol."

According to Metro, a source claims Rihanna is cooking up a double-dose of music and is planning to release two albums: "one full of chart-friendly songs, and another made up of moody and experimental tracks."

And last year, Rih registered two tracks with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers: "Only One Who Knows" and "Phatty." "Phatty" was reportedly written by Buju Banton, who many reggae fans know as an icon.
