India Arie has released the visuals for "That Magic," the first single from her eighth album, Worthy.

Full of warm colors and light, the video cuts between a public and private Arie. We see the superstar Grammy-winning artist performing onstage dressed like one of the divas in scenes connected by a glamorous photoshoot. These visuals are juxtaposed with an intimate look at the star: we see her wigless, happy and casually cavorting with the subject of the song, a man who has "that magic."

In the short, Arie's two worlds are connected by that man's profession and passion; like her, he is an artist, a photographer, who sees her clearly — not only through his lens, but with his eyes.

The song has been tearing up the charts; according to Billboard, "That Magic" became Arie's seventh Top 10 hit last month. It's spent more than 10 weeks on the Adult R&B chart, where it currently sits at No. 8. Her last Top 10 hit came in 2009 with "Chocolate High" from her Testimony Vol. 2 album.

The artist's newest project, Worthy, is set to debut in 2019.

She told NPR the title has special meaning to her.

"It's a word that's powerful; it's a word I've come to love," Arie said. "It's my favorite word; it's my mantra; it's my life philosophy."

Making the word a central part of her life, she said, helps her to remember a very important truth: "Anytime someone treats me as less than, I know they're mistaken."
