Following the passing of Nipsey Hussle, his Marathon Clothing store has seen a massive uptick in sales.
The South Los Angeles-based store was first conceived in 2017 to provide job opportunities for the residents of Nip's Crenshaw community. Now, the store is a nationally known streetwear shop. According to TMZ, sales have skyrocketed to roughly $2 million since the 33-year-old's death.

High-profile clients such as rappers T.I., Meek Mill, The Game and basketball stars including DeMar DeRozan have been patronizing the store. Even though many of them were offered free gear, they decided to support Hussle and his family by buying merch.

The Grammy-nominated artist was gunned down March 31 by Eric Holder following a personal dispute.
Hussle, who was born Ermias Asghedom, was also a community activist and businessman. Many of the businesses he launched are located in his community and employ people who live there.
In addition to the great success at his store, Billboard reports his hit album Victory Lap reentered the top 200 charts at No. 2, surpassing its debut spot of No. 4 last year.
Members of the community, politicians and civil rights leaders paid their final respects to the STEM advocate on April 11 at the Staples Center during a "Celebration of Life."
