The Brooklyn native was on an international flight headed back to the United States after taking a trip with stops in Thailand and Tokyo, according to TMZ. Sources familiar with the situation confirmed the 25-year-old exposed himself on the plane, and a flight attendant rebuked him for his actions.

On Monday, Minneapolis police questioned the “Panda” artist after his plane landed before releasing him.

Desiigner, born Sidney Royel Selby III, took to Instagram on Monday to apologize for his actions and seek medical help, per the outlet.

“For the past few months i have not been ok, and i have been struggling to come to terms with what is going on,” the musician wrote in a statement posted to his Instagram Story.

He continued, “While overseas for a concert i performed at, i had to be admitted in to a hospital, i was not thinking clearly. They gave me meds, and i had to hop on a plane home. I am ashamed of my actions that happened on that plane. I landed back to the states, and am admitting my self in a facility to help me.”

Desiigner encouraged those who may be experiencing mental health issues to get help: “If your not feeling like yourself please get help,” he wrote. 

He also informed fans he would be “canceling all of my shows and any obligations until further notice.”
